Role Snapshot

Apply multiple paint systems to a variety of parts with tight tolerances and exacting specifications. You’ll prepare, mix, spray, and inspect coatings to meet customer requirements while maintaining a clean, safe paint booth environment.

A Day in This Role

  • Pull the exact paint called out on the job from inventory.
  • Blend to spraying viscosity with the correct thinner; mix two-part urethane paint with reducer per spec.
  • Spray parts to print/specification, ensuring coverage, film build, and finish quality.
  • Inspect finished parts against customer requirements and correct as needed.
  • Manage materials responsibly: pour surplus paint into the waste paint bucket and place used solvent from gun cleaning into the designated solvent bucket for hazardous waste collection.
  • Clean and flush spray guns with solvent; promptly absorb spills and follow hazardous waste procedures.
  • Replace filters, clean the booth, move materials, and keep the work area orderly.

Schedule & Pay

  • First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation range: $16.00–$21.00

What You Bring

  • Good hand–eye coordination, finger dexterity, and strong color sensitivity.
  • Clear, effective communication and the ability to follow work instructions precisely.
  • Safety-first mindset that minimizes risk to self, others, and the environment.
  • Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance.
  • Required: Two (2) years of industrial spray painting or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally move equipment up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to ascend/descend stairs.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel.
