Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service department's operations, ensuring high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. This role includes managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HVAC service team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement service procedures and standards to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate technician performance, providing training and development as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage customer relationships, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during service.
- Prepare and manage service budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Qualifications
- EPA Certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and service operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- MA gas service license is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
