Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Quality Assurance CoordinatorPosition Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Assurance Coordinator to support our Quality team in Lawrence, MA. This role is responsible for maintaining quality records, supporting audits, managing documentation, tracking corrective actions, and assisting with quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a multitasker with strong analytical skills who can investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and help drive corrective actions while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach. Essential Responsibilities
- Interact with auditors, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve daily quality-related issues and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Enter, maintain, track, and gather objective evidence related to:
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Customer requests and quality reports
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Training records and compliance documentation
- Monitor and maintain Controlled Technique Sheets and Frozen Planning documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain quality-related documents, procedures, forms, and records.
- Perform data entry and filing to support laboratory activities, calibration records, controlled certifications of materials, customer interactions, and customer surveys.
- Monitor and maintain customer approval databases.
- Provide backup support for Calibration, Controlled Purchasing, and Quality Management functions.
- Conduct specification reviews and gap analyses to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Train inspectors and employees on work instructions, procedures, systems, and quality requirements.
- Review non-compliant products and quality concerns and participate in root cause investigations and corrective action processes.
- Track and maintain quality metrics and records to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support a culture of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Experience with document control, data entry, and quality record management.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting audits and quality management systems is a plus.
