Our organization is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to become part of our safety-focused team in Braintree, MA. This position involves routes from Braintree, MA, to various locations across the Northeast and Southern regions, averaging miles per week. Candidates should be prepared for a minimum of two weeks on the road. Domicile options include Cranston, RI; Braintree, MA; Cohoes, NY; Bristol, CT; and Baltimore, MD.

Position Overview:

  • Annual earnings between $200,000 and $250,000
  • Home every two weeks
  • Compensation includes hourly pay for on-duty time, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and consistently acting in a safe manner.
  • Operate tractor-trailer units efficiently.
  • Comply with weight regulations and ensure proper utilization of equipment.
  • Oversee the safe loading and unloading of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring loads are secured appropriately.
  • Label vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, invoices, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection records.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required
  • A minimum of 12 months of Class A driving experience
  • Proficiency in using necessary technology, including mobile applications and computer software
