The Production Machine Operator (6pm - 6am) is responsible for setting up and operating machinery. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards and specifications. The Production Machine Operator plays a crucial part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and adhering to company values and safety guidelines.
- Follow Isovolta Values and Culture: Uphold the company’s core values and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Machine Setup: Ensure that machinery is set up according to the specifications outlined in the machine’s spec sheet.
- Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery including monitoring operation, machine adjustments and troubleshooting of equipment to meet required specifications.
- Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust machinery to meet quoted run times, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising quality.
- Quality Control: Verify that the products produced are within the required production specifications and quality standards. Record in-process data accurately to ensure continuous monitoring of product quality and production metrics. Document any deviations from quality standards and report them for corrective action.
- Maintenance Requests: Identify and report any equipment issues that affect production efficiency and create maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry in SAP to document material usage and movement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
