Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a System Analysis & Consulting Expert job in Bedford, MA. This CONTRACT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the life sciences industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing industrial control systems and OT solutions that enable GxP compliance in biopharmaceutical R&D environments. In order to be successful in this position, you must have five plus years of hands-on industrial control systems and OT experience with a proven track record in PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development in R&D environments. Preference will be given to someone with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, or Rockwell Studio 5000 experience, MTP implementation, and familiarity with ISA-88/ISA-95 standards.
System Analysis & Consulting Expert Job responsibilities:
- Develop industrial control systems and OT solutions following GAMP 5, including technical specifications and validation documentation.
- Design and implement PLC programming and SCADA/HMI applications.
- Implement real-time data exchange using OPC DA/UA, MODBUS, and Ethernet/IP.
- Demonstrate solutions through presentations and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders on requirements within Agile and Nexus Framework practices.
Qualifications:
- Five plus years of industrial control systems and OT experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, automation, or a related field
- Expert in STL, FBD, Ladder, and object-oriented programming using Siemens TIA Portal, CODESYS, or Rockwell
- Expert in SCADA/HMI development using WinCC, Ignition, Aveva System Platform, or FactoryTalk View
- Experience with DCS solutions such as DeltaV or Siemens PCS, plus MS SQL Server and .NET
- Docker, CI/CD, RESTful API, and GitHub experience a plus
This hybrid contract System Analysis & Consulting Expert job is based in Bedford, MA. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $85.00 - $90.00, commensurate with experience. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
