Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical equipment, assemblies, components, and automated systems using CAD tools.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
- Integrate motors, pumps, valves, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, and other industrial components.
- Develop equipment sequences, controls, alarms, interlocks, and system logic.
- Read and develop mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical/control schematics.

Qualifications
\n
Required
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing mechanical equipment using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Experience programming or troubleshooting PLCs.
- Understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with industrial motors, sensors, valves, instrumentation, and related components.

Preferred

- 3–7+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting automated equipment.
- Experience with PLC/HMI platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, AutomationDirect, or similar.
- Experience with VFDs, analog instrumentation, digital I/O, communications, and industrial networking.
- Experience with automated machinery, process equipment, industrial systems, or other complex engineered equipment.
- Experience taking equipment from concept through design, fabrication, programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience working for an OEM, machine builder, engineering firm, or systems integrator.
