All Around Machinist wanted in a clean, bright R&D short-run production machine shop located in Billerica, MA. We are a small well established shop. We are looking for a positive dependable individual with a good work ethic who works well with others but is able to work independently, communicates clearly, and manages time efficiently. The individual would be programming HAAS Machining Centers, some ProtoTrack Machines and light assembly may be required at times. The individual must be able to use MasterCam.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of machining experience
Responsilbilites:
- All aspects of programming ProtoTrack, Miller, and Lathe as well as HAAS Machining Centers.
- Able to use MasterCam 2024 Milling.
- Able to work from electronic files and blueprints and create necessary geometry based on blueprints.
- Able to set up & run jobs from start to finish with minimal assistance.
- Develop and record set-up/operating procedures for the jobs to include - cutting tools, fixturing, speeds, feeds, and operations needed.
