As a Logistics Analyst II, you’ll be an integral part of the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team interfacing directly with team members and stakeholders, including customers and program leaders.

In this role, you’re responsible for providing technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks. You will plan and execute experiments and gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes to support engineering disciplines.

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The organization is comprised of multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. LCE disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle—from initial concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and eventual deactivation.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA

What You Will Do

  • Analyze, maintain, compile and format data and design changes.

  • Produce drawings, reports and engineering documentation.

  • Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems

  • Collaboration with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers

  • 10% or less Domestic and/or International Travel May Be Required

  • Develop and maintain supportability analyses and provisioning data, under consultative direction to apply advanced logistics principles to develop complex program level concepts and plans.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • Experience in one or more areas of the Technical Data Package (TDP): materials/parts lists, electrical schematics, generating and/or interpreting parts lists, system drawings, or logistics plans.

  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List, systems drawings and/or logistics plans.

  • Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (Poisson Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar analysis software experience)

  • Experience in performing Level of Repairability Analysis (LORA) using COMPASS and/ or OPUS.

  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI) in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506

  • Experience utilizing EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave tools

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
