Responsibilities

- Greet visitors warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the admissions desk
- Acquire and share knowledge about the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and programs to assist visitors effectively
- Ensure safety and security within gallery spaces by monitoring guest activities as a gallery attendant
- Support daily operations by maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for all guests
- Collaborate with team members and report on visitor experiences to enhance service quality

Requirements
\n

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service within hospitality, retail, entertainment, or cultural organizations
- Proven skills in digital communication, interpersonal relations, and conflict resolution
- Strong judgment and initiative to address issues swiftly, including safety and security concerns
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work 32-40 hours weekly, including Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Willingness to work onsite in Cambridge, MA
