Picture this: multiple belt draw towers staged and ready. You set the parameters, confirm the setup, and bring each line online—methodically, under close supervision—until everything runs to spec. You’re the calm in the middle of motion: checking outputs visually and mechanically, catching the smallest deviation. When something doesn’t look right, you escalate it immediately to more experienced operators. That discipline keeps quality strong.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up and run several belt draw towers at once, following established procedures.
- Validate product to process specifications through visual and mechanical inspection.
- Direct any questionable product to senior operators for review.
- Conduct routine machine and equipment inspections; complete basic maintenance.
- Sustain 5S housekeeping standards for a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Hit utilization targets and standard times across assigned equipment.
- Record precise Database/SAP entries and keep daily labor sheets and routers up to date.
- Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety rules at all times.
What You Bring to the Line
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; clear communicator in writing and speech.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and dependable in a team setting.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Experience performing machine setups for production runs.
