Tax Accountant (Entry-Level)

Donovan, Sullivan & Ryan, CPAs is a growing and independent CPA firm right outside Boston, MA. We are seeking an Entry-Level Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in public accounting within a supportive and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to develop professionally while working alongside experienced tax professionals.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts
- Support tax compliance and tax research projects
- Work closely with Partners, Managers, and staff on client engagements
- Organize and maintain client financial information and documentation
- Communicate with clients and team members regarding requested information
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Internship or prior tax experience preferred but not required
- Interest in pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting and tax principles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Experience with QuickBooks® or tax software is a plus
