HVAC Operations Manager – License Holder
Location: Greater Worcester, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000+ base (DOE) + commission & bonuses
We’re hiring an experienced HVAC Operations Manager with an active Massachusetts HVAC license to lead and grow a residential and commercial HVAC operation. This role combines leadership, operations, sales accountability, and hands-on technical expertise. You’ll play a key role in scaling a fast-growing company while building a strong, collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day operations and full P&L responsibility
- Drive revenue, profitability, and operational performance
- Lead, coach, and develop technicians and staff
- Oversee scheduling, dispatch, job costing, and project execution
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage budgets
- Support troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Ensure customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and quality standards
- Build processes, documentation, and operational best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of HVAC experience (management or leadership preferred)
- Active Massachusetts Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractor License (required)
- Strong background in operations, job costing, and team leadership
- Proven ability to hit revenue and growth targets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using technology and modern tools (including AI-based systems)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Required Certifications
- EPA 608 Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
