Manager of Financial Reporting
We’re looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting to lead external financial reporting, supervise one team member, and ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP standards. This role is key to managing financial reporting processes for acquisitions, leases, and portfolio operations while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K) and related disclosures
- Review lease agreements, purchase price allocations, and ensure GAAP compliance
- Supervise and mentor a Financial Reporting Accountant
- Collaborate with the Construction team on capital project accounting
- Manage straight-line rent reconciliations and oversee XBRL reporting
- Conduct technical accounting research and support SOX compliance
Requirements (Must-Have):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA (completed or in progress)
- 4–6 years of public accounting experience (audit focus), including real estate industry exposure
- SEC reporting knowledge
- Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Nice-to-Haves:
- Big 4 experience
- Familiarity with Workiva or MRI systems
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
