Job DescriptionLapping Operator – 2nd Shift
A contract manufacturing company is looking for a Lapping Operator in the area of Hudson, MA. This company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the manufacturing sector, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards.
Shift of the Lapping Operator:
2nd Shift - 1pm-9:30pm
Pay Rate of the Lapping Operator:
$24-25/hr
Responsibilities of the Lapping Operator:
- Check the tables and machines regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Measure pieces before, during, and after processing to maintain quality standards.
- Determine the optimal run-time for each job based on specifications.
- Load parts and run 1-2 machines simultaneously for efficient production.
- Flip and rotate parts to ensure an even finish while following prescribed safety regulations.
Qualifications of the Lapping Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity required.
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
