Job Description

You follow detailed work instructions and blueprints, operate tools and equipment safely, perform quality inspections, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused production area. Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing operations using composite materials, including layup, trimming, and finishing of parts.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to produce parts that meet quality and performance requirements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely and accurately.
- Use tape measures, cutting tools, and other shop equipment to perform precise fabrication tasks.
- Work with materials such as fiberglass and other composites in cleanroom or controlled environments when required.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-lit individual work station and production floor.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and leadership to meet daily and long-term production goals.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to support consistent production schedules.
- Participate in hands-on training and skill development related to composite manufacturing processes.
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions or blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily production activities.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work safely and follow strict quality and safety standards.
- Capability to work in cleanroom or controlled environments when required.
- Eligibility to work on aerospace and defense-related applications in compliance with applicable regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in composites, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience with quality inspection processes and use of inspection tools.
- Familiarity with tape measures, cutting tools, and other shop equipment used in fabrication.
- Forklift experience; company provides certification for qualified candidates.
- Experience working with fiberglass and other composite materials.
- Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfort collaborating in a team-oriented setting with supervisors and peers.
- Ability to adapt to new processes and technologies in advanced manufacturing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
