Job Description

Join a growing advanced manufacturing team in Stoughton, MA as a Production Associate, supporting aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. In this hands-on role, you work with composite materials to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You follow detailed work instructions and blueprints, operate tools and equipment safely, perform quality inspections, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused production area. Training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing operations using composite materials, including layup, trimming, and finishing of parts.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to produce parts that meet quality and performance requirements.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely and accurately.
  • Use tape measures, cutting tools, and other shop equipment to perform precise fabrication tasks.
  • Work with materials such as fiberglass and other composites in cleanroom or controlled environments when required.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-lit individual work station and production floor.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and leadership to meet daily and long-term production goals.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to support consistent production schedules.
  • Participate in hands-on training and skill development related to composite manufacturing processes.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions or blueprints.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily production activities.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work safely and follow strict quality and safety standards.
  • Capability to work in cleanroom or controlled environments when required.
  • Eligibility to work on aerospace and defense-related applications in compliance with applicable regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in composites, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and use of inspection tools.
  • Familiarity with tape measures, cutting tools, and other shop equipment used in fabrication.
  • Forklift experience; company provides certification for qualified candidates.
  • Experience working with fiberglass and other composite materials.
  • Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfort collaborating in a team-oriented setting with supervisors and peers.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and technologies in advanced manufacturing.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
