Job DescriptionCarl F. Riedell & Son is looking for an experienced Water Filtration Service Technician to join AWS – Advanced Air and Water Company in Osterville, MA.

As a Water Filtration Service Technician, you’ll take ownership of service calls from start to finish, working on residential water treatment systems and helping customers get the most out of their equipment. Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential water treatment systems
- Work with water softeners, neutralizers, filtration systems, and point-of-use R.O. systems
- Diagnose system issues and determine the appropriate repairs or adjustments
- Perform filter changes, system cleanings, settings adjustments, and routine maintenance
- Test water and evaluate water treatment needs
- Install and service components associated with residential water treatment systems
- Communicate system operation, recommendations, and repairs clearly to customers
- Communicate with customers, foremen, and other Riedell team members
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and vehicles
- Identify potential issues and communicate them to the appropriate team members
- Complete service documentation and accurately record work performed
- Take responsibility for the quality and completion of each service call
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience servicing residential water treatment or filtration systems
- Experience with water softeners, neutralizers, filtration systems, and point-of-use R.O. systems
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of residential plumbing and water treatment practices
- Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and clean driving record
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in basements, crawlspaces, and varying conditions
- Plumbing experience or a Massachusetts plumbing license is a plus
