Job DescriptionTax Manager
We're established public accounting firm based in the Waltham, MA area with 50 employees specializing our services for high net worth clientele with full service solutions including financial planning, tax preparation and review.
In business for over 40 years, we are actively seekig a Generalist Tax Manager with high-level review experience to work on a hybrid basis (2-3 days a week).
Responsibilities
- Prepare complex tax returns for small businesses in a variety of industries and individual clients with high net worth (including Gift, Trust and Estate)
- Review tax returns prepared by colleagues to ensure quality processing
- Meet with clients and Trustees to present financial and tax planning strategies
- Analyze and process quarterly estimated tax payments for assigned individual accounts
- Utilize a variety of software applications related to tax research, planning and preparation including; BNA and ProSystem Fx
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years' of experience in individual and business tax returns
- 5+ years' experience in direct individual client environment involving financial planning & analysis
- Current, high level of knowledge about individual and business tax matters
