Commercial Lines Account Manager
Integrated Insurance Solutions (IIS) | Framingham, MA
$70,000–$95,000 • Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Remote)
Great People. No Corporate Red Tape. Just Good Insurance.
What if you could work for one of Massachusetts’ largest independently owned insurance agencies but still feel like part of a close-knit family? At Integrated Insurance Solutions (IIS), that’s exactly what you’ll find.
We’re one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in Massachusetts, with the experience and resources of a major agency.
Around here, sneakers and T-shirts are welcome, coworkers genuinely enjoy spending time together, and everyone pitches in when someone needs a hand.
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager who knows the insurance business, enjoys taking care of clients, and wants to work somewhere that values both great service and great people.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll manage an established book of commercial insurance clients, building relationships and making sure they receive the service and attention they deserve.
· Managing commercial accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
· Handling renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy changes.
· Reviewing coverage and helping clients understand their insurance needs.
· Working with carriers and underwriters to resolve questions and issues.
· Partnering with producers to onboard and service new business.
· Keeping account information organized and up to date in the agency management system.
· Working alongside a team that believes helping each other is simply part of the job.
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
We want someone who knows commercial insurance and can confidently manage the day-to-day responsibilities of an established book of business.
Here’s what you’ll need:
· At least 3 years of commercial lines account management experience within an insurance agency.
· Hands-on experience with commercial P&C accounts, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and client servicing.
· Experience using Applied EPIC agency management software.
· Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and terminology.
· Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· The ability to manage your workload independently while being a supportive team member.
A few extras we’d love to see:
· Experience with professional lines.
· An active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (we’ll support and pay for you to obtain it if needed).
· A college degree.
And just as importantly? Someone who’s approachable, dependable, enjoys collaborating, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
BenefitsWhy You’ll Love Working Here
A genuinely laid-back environment. Leave the corporate dress code behind. We care more about the work you do and how you treat people than what shoes you’re wearing.
A team that likes each other. We’re a close-knit group where coworkers get along, enjoy spending time together, and support one another.
Leadership you can talk to. We’re an agency with accessible management. Have a question or need a decision? You won’t have to navigate layers of approvals to get an answer.
Independence without being on your own. We trust experienced professionals to manage their work, but there’s always someone willing to jump in and help.
Real client relationships. You’ll have an established book of business and the opportunity to get to know your clients, not just process their requests.
