Are you a Tool Setter that takes pride in producing precise, high‑quality parts? We’re looking for a skilled Tool Setter to join our growing team in Attleboro!
As a Tool Setter, you’ll set up and operate presses used to blank various shapes and sizes of product, primarily from flat stock sheets and strips, ensuring every piece meets exacting specifications. If you value accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship, we want to meet you.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 am – 3:00 pm
What You’ll Do
- Set up machines to begin production cycles, including calibration and cleaning
- Control and adjust machine settings such as speed, feed, and alignment
- Properly handle, stage, and feed raw materials
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure machines are operating correctly
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain detailed activity logs throughout the shift
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to confirm accuracy and quality
- Perform changeovers, including handling high-value components, inserting, measuring, weighing, and recording data
- Work across a variety of presses with consistency and attention to detail
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator with hands-on precision tool setting experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read mill tickets, follow work instructions, and interpret manuals
- Strong math skills and confidence using precision measuring devices
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive production goals
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves walking, standing, and occasional lifting of materials.
