Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking reliable, handson Assistant Technicians to support operations at a growing industrial facility focused on food analysis and recovery. This role involves cleaning, material handling, light maintenance support, and general operational assistance. Assistant Technicians work under the direction of a Lead Technician and play an important role in keeping the facility running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, break down, clean, and stack organic material bins
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Report safety or operational concerns to the Lead Technician or management immediately
- Operate hand pallet jacks
- Assist with basic preventive maintenance and operational tasks
- Participate in shift handoff meetings, safety trainings, and scheduled meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active role. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit throughout the shift
- Perform repetitive tasks and operate equipment safely
- Work in environments with changing temperatures, humidity, and wet conditions

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments a plus
- 6–12 months of maintenance, industrial maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
- Experience using pressure washers and hand pallet jacks preferred
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
