Full-Time Cashier / Sales Associate
Re-Sell Consignment Shop is looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Full-Time Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team.
Position Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate our POS system and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and layaway transactions according to store policy.
- Answer customer questions and help shoppers locate merchandise.
- Learn about our wide variety of merchandise and provide knowledgeable assistance.
- Help promote sales and encourage customers to explore the store.
- Assist with stocking, pricing, organizing, and displaying merchandise.
- Keep the checkout area and sales floor clean, organized, and presentable.
- Help maintain a safe and enjoyable shopping environment.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries.
- Work as part of a team to meet store goals.
- Perform opening, closing, and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer-service experience preferred.
- Must be friendly, dependable, and professional.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling money.
- Comfortable using computers and POS systems.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available for a full-time schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with merchandise as needed.

We want someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in keeping the store looking great. Experience with antiques, collectibles, tools, jewelry, electronics, or other unique merchandise is a plus!
