Carrying

 Pushing

Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

This is a second shift position: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

The Role
 
As the Shop Foreman, you are the bridge between skilled technical expertise and high-quality customer service. You ensure that repairs are performed efficiently by our qualified Technicians while maintaining a safe, high-quality work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Leadership: Assist Technicians in skill development, provide technical support, and ensure fair distribution of repair orders.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on completed jobs, road-test vehicles, and minimize "comebacks" to ensure total customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Technical Oversight: Diagnose complex malfunctions, interpret diagnostic results, and oversee the repair and overhaul of trucks, busses and heavy equipment.</li>
<li>Shop Management: Monitor shop cleanliness, maintain inventory of special tools, and ensure compliance with OSHA and hazardous waste regulations.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager to report problems and maintain harmony across all departments.</li>
</ul>
What You Bring to the Table
<ul>
<li>Experience: 4+ years of heavy-duty truck repair experience.</li>
<li>Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of mechanical repairs, brake systems, steering, transmissions, and engines.</li>
<li>Tech Savvy: Proficient with computer diagnostic software and able to interpret complex service manuals.</li>
<li>Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.</li>
<li>Credentials: High school diploma/GED required; CDL preferred.</li>

Compensation &amp; Perks

Some essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Trash removal
•Dusting
•Restocking supplies in restrooms, break rooms and coffee centers using only Company approved products
•Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
•Washing of windows, glass doors and mirrors
•Securing account at end of shift (alarms/locks/lights)
•Promotes and supports Foxfire’s company policies and procedures

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
•Education or Experience- No prior experience or education is required
•Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
•Mathematical Skills- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using standard units of weight, volume, money and distance.
•Reasoning Ability- Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to identify and solve problems involving standardized situations.
 
Physical Requirements
•Non-slip safety shoes are recommended
•Ability to pass physical exam, lift test, pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
•Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, and seeing
•Lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
•Inside environmental office conditions protected from weather conditions. Potential exposure to cleaning chemicals, solvents, and/ or fumes.
