The Role
This position oversees all aspects of legal billing and invoicing for the firm and plays a key role in supporting attorneys and firm leadership.
Key responsibilities include:

<li>Preparing, generating, and managing attorney pre-bills for review and submission</li>
<li>Maintaining and monitoring attorney time entries and billing data</li>
<li>Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all billing information</li>
<li>Working with LEDES billing formats and client-specific billing guidelines</li>
<li>Submitting invoices through multiple e-billing platforms, including TimeSlips, Tymetrix, Legal Tracker, Legal X, SimpleLegal, TeamConnect, Acuity, and Brightflag</li>
<li>Reviewing, troubleshooting, and resolving invoice rejections and discrepancies</li>
<li>Tracking invoice status and following up on outstanding accounts</li>
<li>Coordinating vendor payments and ensuring expenses are properly invoiced and billed</li>
<li>Working closely with the firm's external bookkeeper during monthly visits</li>
<li>Assisting with check requests and internal financial coordination</li>
<li>Interfacing with outsourced payroll and HR vendors as needed</li>
<li>Providing day-to-day billing and administrative support to attorneys and managing partners</li>
</ul>
