Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of residential services in order to ensure a safe and secure environment and the delivery of high-quality services. 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Ensures compliance with all applicable licensing regulations, accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Updates and amends policy and procedures manual for accuracy and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Develops yearly program/facility fiscal goals.</li>
<li>Implements and maintains budget and develops and drives the achievement of profit and loss goals.</li>
<li>Monitors and manages day to day operations to ensure policy compliance, effective client supervision, delivery of quality services, and the facilitation of program/facility schedule.</li>
<li>Supervises, assists with hiring, and evaluates staff performance. Develops measurable objectives for necessary improvements and implements appropriate corrective action to staff adhering to human resources policies and utilizing Human Resources when necessary.</li>
<li>Confers with local agencies and internal contacts such as social service, community relations, criminal justice, consultants, and other program/facility staff members to interpret the programmatic activities and objectives as well as developing cooperative working relationships. </li>
<li>Develops and ensures that the program has implemented and follows through on all quality, compliance, safety, and privacy policies, actions, and improvement plans.</li>
<li>Evaluates program/facility training needs for staff members and coordinates and implements training activities and programs.</li>
<li>Communicates regularly and thoroughly with appropriate supervisory staff members on matters such as operational, administrative, and personnel issues within the program/facility.</li>
<li>Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.</li>
<li>Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) intervention techniques and skills and provide effective supervision to staff regarding the use of SCM.</li>
<li>Identify nature, dynamics and categories of challenging behaviors and reduce their frequency.</li>

Minimum Requirements:
The following education requirements are acceptable for this classification including:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social science field and minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in residential and nonresidential program/facility of which three years must be in a supervisory or managerial level; Licensure preferred to include LCSW, LICSW or LCMHC etc.</li>
<li>Master’s degree in behavioral or social science field and minimum four years of progressively responsible experience in residential and non-residential program/facility of which two years' experience must be in a supervisory or managerial level. Licensure preferred to include LCSW, LICSW or LCMHC etc.</li>
<li>At least twenty-one (21) years of age.</li>
<li>Criminal clearances (Specific State &amp; child clearances and, FBI).</li>
<li>Pass Drug Screening and Physical Exam.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence.</li>
<li>Valid registered vehicle insurance.</li>
<li>Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.</li>

 The position will begin with a paid two-week orientation period, during which the Clinical Fellow CF will receive direct supervision and guidance from an assigned supervisor. Ongoing support and expertise is provided throughout this year-long fellowship. We fulfill and exceed the state and ASHA requirements for supervision, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive experience to help you successfully complete your training as a skilled and independent clinician.
