RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Residence Manager is responsible for the oversight and operations of two 24-hour residential home for adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) and developmental disabilities (DD), funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The Senior Residence Manager works in the home to promote residents’ health and safety, community integration, and person-centered support to pursue individual goals and be as independent as possible. This role works collaboratively with program staff, families, day programs, and DDS. Responsibilities of the Senior Residence Manager
<ul>
<li>Supervise and train staff team including onboarding program and resident specific trainings, monthly 1:1 supervisions, monthly staff meetings, evaluations, and as needed training.</li>
<li>Manage staff scheduling at two programs.</li>
<li>Coordinate all programs day-to-day operations including administrative, facility, financial, and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Coordinate all client care including medical management, skill development, and social/recreational activities.</li>
<li>Complete paperwork to meet DDS regulations regarding service planning, as well as medical and financial management.</li>
<li>Engage in and support staff to communicate collaboratively and proactively with collateral contacts.</li>

Requirements of the Senior Residence Manager
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred or at least 3-5 years relevant work experience.</li>
<li>At least 3 years experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other vulnerable populations, preferably in a residential setting.</li>
<li>At least 2 years of supervisory experience.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Department of Developmental (DDS) regulations preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible in schedule.</li>
<li>Ability to make safe, consistent, and effective clinical decisions in crisis and non-crisis situations.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills.</li>
<li>Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate residents’ goals/activities, operations, and staffing patterns.</li>
<li>Ability to pass First Aid/CPR/MAP trainings within 90 days.</li>
<li>A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle (mileage is reimbursed)</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Outlook</li>

· Enforces supervised visitation expectations as identified by DCYF to ensure child safety.
· Interfaces with DCYF, the NH court system, schools, behavioral health providers, and any other involved members of the treatment team as necessary to provide quality service delivery.
· Successfully assesses client risk on an ongoing basis and consult with clinical supervisor regarding any safety concerns.
· Transportation of clients, including children and adults, requiring car seat and booster seat installation.
· On-call rotation: responsible for responding to phone to provide support to families as utilized.
· Early evening availability required for working hours. Most visits to clients are in the afternoon or early evenings. Must have flexible availability to work due to this. Schedule/hours are subject to our clients needs.
· Ability to successfully document all clinical contacts and documentation through Electronic Health System.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
