The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security of our manufacturing facility to ensure the safety and security of personnel, equipment, materials, and company property. This role involves managing security staff, enforcing security policies, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Working with Senior Manager of Security Operations, develop security policies and procedures specific to manufacturing operations, including access control, perimeter security, and visitor management; ensure enforcement of policies and procedures </li>
<li>Monitor and secure entry/exit points, warehouses, production areas, and restricted zones</li>
<li>Implement and maintain surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, motion detectors) and ensure they are fully operational</li>
<li>Supervise and schedule security guards and officers</li>
<li>Conduct training sessions on security protocols, emergency response, and workplace safety</li>
<li>Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching as needed</li>
<li>Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and emergency drills</li>
<li>Investigate security incidents, breaches, or accidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with corporate security standards, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Collaborate with Senior Manager of Security Operations, HR, Safety and Operations teams on security-related matters</li>
<li>Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of incidents, security logs, and access reports</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education: High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in security operations, law enforcement or military, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (manufacturing or industrial environment a plus)</li>
<li>Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; knowledge of physical security systems and access control technologies; ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions; demonstrated ability to lead investigations, conduct interviews and prepare proficient incident reports; and trained in deescalation procedures </li>
<li>Certifications: CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk both inside and outside throughout 8 - 10-hour shifts</li>
<li>Able to lift 30+ pounds</li>
</ul>
 
This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

<li>• Supervise nursing care in accordance with rules, regulations &amp; guidelines governing long-term care. • Ensure all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with written policies and procedures. • Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with procedures set forth by the organization. • Assure the implementation of resident care plans. • Conduct assessments and care plans appropriate for residents admitted to the facility. • Communicate pertinent information and interpret facility policies to residents, staff, families and visitors. • Communicate effectively will all disciplines. • Keep DON informed of information of any changes in resident condition. • Review, investigate and document properly all incidents/accidents. • Coordinate orientation for new nursing staff. • Implement progressive discipline when appropriate. • Evaluate emergency situations and take appropriate action. • Participate in facility surveys made by authorized agencies. • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required. • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc., as necessary. • Complete and file required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, transfer, and or discharge. • Receive phone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form. • Chart all reports of accidents/incidents involving residents. Follow established procedures. • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. • Verify the identity of the resident after administering the medication/treatment. • Ensure adequate medications, supplies, and equipment are available. Report needs to DON. • Ensure narcotic records are accurate for your shift. • Notify DON of all drug and narcotic discrepancies. • All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that exhibits the IHC mission, vision, and core values.</li>

Requirements of the Weekend Supervisor:
<ul>
<li>Licensed Nurse in the State of Massachusetts</li>
<li>Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care facility preferred</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills; detail oriented</li>
<li>Exceptional critical thinking skills</li>
<li>High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards</li>
<li>Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults.</li>
