 We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). This will include oversight of material delivery, build, and test. The work will involve support in production as well as suppliers (as needed). This role involves cross functional collaboration and basic understanding of module level RF test, power electronics, and circuit design.

Tasks include supporting development or production and technical management of both engineering disciplines and suppliers for programs throughout the product life cycle.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven project organization and execution skills, multi-tasking and verbal/written communication and presentation skills, and experience in a budget and schedule critical environment. Candidates should lead multi-discipline teams to develop systems from concept through integration and production, and develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of large scope and complexity. A candidate willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues. Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices required.

What You Will Do
<ul>
<li>Support development or production for programs throughout the product life cycle.</li>
<li>Factory and supplier support for RF Downlink</li>
<li>Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters</li>
<li>Technical management of both engineering disciplines and suppliers</li>
<li>Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.</li>

Qualifications You Must Have
<ul>
<li>Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:

<li>Experience with power electronics, control systems, signal processing and/or RF/microwave.</li>
<li>Experience with circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Experience with defense industry standards.</li>
<li>Experience with in factory support, supplier support,</li>
<li>Experience with production processes and manufacturing techniques for defense systems. This includes any or all of the following: obsolescence mitigation, support to component suppliers, plan and execution of application validation tests, support to major component 2nd source activities.</li>
<li>Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab.</li>

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction. 2. Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment. 3. Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them in a timely manner. 4. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. 5. Understand and implement complex machinery operations, including pneumatics and motors. 6. Maintain detailed records of performed work, repairs, and parts used. 7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. 8. Collaborate with other staff members to optimize performance and output. 9. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment. 10. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in the Engineering industry. 3. Extensive knowledge of Machine Maintenance Tech, Pneumatics, Motors, and Repair. 4. Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machinery and equipment. 5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. 9. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. 10. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces. 11. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. 12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports, order parts, and maintain records. 13. Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required.
