Job Summary:
Automotive Technicians are responsible for diagnosing problems with vehicles, performing maintenance, and repairs on our client’s cars that come in for service. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning;</li>
<li>Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards;</li>
<li>Performs maintenance procedure, including oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, etc.;</li>
<li>Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;</li>
<li>Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs;</li>
<li>Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications;</li>
<li>Suggest other services or repairs as necessary;</li>
<li>Performs test drives as needed;</li>
<li>State-regulated vehicle inspections;</li>
<li>Communicates directly with the Service Advisor and/or Service Dispatcher so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed;</li>
<li>Performs other related duties consistent with the role; this does not preclude management from assigning additional, though unrelated, duties. </li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques;</li>
<li>Effective problem-solving skills are crucial for diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues;</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment efficiently;</li>

<li>Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.</li>
</ul>
Required Education / Experience / Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Valid Driving License and acceptable Driving Record History;</li>
<li>Acceptable Background Record;</li>
<li>Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques;</li>
<li>Current ASE certification, or ability to attain certification.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects like engines, transmissions, tires, parts, etc. (up to 50 pounds);</li>
<li>Fine motor skills, such as manipulating small parts, using hand tools, and working with precision;</li>
<li>Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and climb to access various parts of a vehicle;</li>
<li>Visual acuity for identifying problems, reading gauges, and working with small parts;</li>
<li>Extended periods of standing, walking, and reaching.</li>
