Job Summary The Grinding Operator – Bench Grind is responsible for operating CNC and manual grinding equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of close-tolerance components by following established procedures, maintaining quality standards, and performing inspections using a variety of measuring tools and vision systems. The operator will also perform secondary operations and assist with general departmental tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment, including centerless (infeed and thrufeed), surface, and wire grinding machines, to meet quality and productivity requirements. Follow work instructions, prints, and operation sequences to produce parts within specification. Monitor machine performance during operation and identify abnormal conditions or malfunctions. Ensure proper coolant flow, lubrication, and machine setup throughout the grinding process. Perform daily equipment and tool maintenance and complete ERP system transactions accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting continuous improvement activities. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, microscopes, dial indicators, gauges, and vision systems. Record inspection data per inspection plans and communicate any deviations to supervisors or department leads. Work collaboratively with team members across shifts to share information and maintain workflow. Perform secondary operations including part cleaning, work area cleaning, and assisting others within the manufacturing department. Machine a variety of materials including metals, composites, plastics, and rubber as required.
Qualifications Experience operating grinding or machining equipment is preferred. Background in manufacturing environments such as medical device, aerospace, metals, or machinery production is desirable. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and meet production deadlines. Strong manual dexterity and experience using inspection and measurement tools. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based manufacturing environment. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and flexibility to perform multiple machining and manufacturing tasks as needed.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational or technical training in machining, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus. One to three years of experience as a CNC Grinding Operator in a precision or small-device manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements Frequent repetitive motion and standing. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. Exposure to moving machinery and mechanical components. Continuous use of safety glasses and full PPE in a cleanroom environment. Occasional sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

You’ll set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn equipment to produce parts exactly to customer prints, verify quality with in-process inspections, and keep each lot fully traceable. As production runs, you’ll deburr, document, and package parts—escalating any nonconformance or FOD and safeguarding product integrity every step of the way.
Interested in leadership? There’s a path. In a lead capacity, you’ll coordinate scheduling for a turning or milling area, troubleshoot issues, adjust and refine CNC programs, and partner with the milling or turning lead to complete first-piece inspections.
 What You’ll Do

You will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer, and will be responsible for providing treatment for both newly admitted and current patients. This requires working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide subacute medical care to patients with acute medical problems, chronic illness, or requesting preventive health services. All DOC shifts begin at 4 pm and end at 8 am. The DOC shift schedule is as follows:

This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Hourly Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
 
Job Summary:
Propane Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating systems, as well as related tanks and piping.
 
Specific Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Installs, maintains, and repairs tanks, piping, heating equipment, and appliances at commercial and residential customer sites.</li>
<li>Communicates in a timely manner with dispatchers, maintaining a schedule and making sure any delays are properly communicated to the customer.</li>
<li>Follows a standardized format for customer repair visits:</li>
<li>Documents all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures where applicable.</li>
<li>Diagnoses diverse electrical and mechanical service issues.</li>
<li>Explains the diagnosed issue in concise terms to the customer, together with the resolution.</li>
<li>Understands, and articulately conveys, company pricing and services to customers.</li>
<li>Repairs by obtaining any needed replacement parts, calibrating system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and thoroughly testing components for functionality.</li>
<li>Identifies and reports to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).</li>
<li>Completes visit by obtaining customer signature and correct customer information, including email address.</li>
<li>Notifies dispatchers of any issues that require repair or compromise delivery or service.</li>
<li>Maintains proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.</li>
<li>Maintains company vehicle, including frequent interior and exterior cleaning, refueling, reporting any mechanical issues and ensuring that they are corrected, and submitting completed monthly vehicle inspection forms.</li>
<li>Participates in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.</li>
<li>Executes other tasks assigned by the Propane Service Manager.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:

Technical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of three years of experience in propane service (waived for trainees).</li>
<li>Some or all appropriate licensing, including NH Gas Fitter License, preferably with Service Technician endorsement; NH Master Plumber License; MA LP Installer; MA Master Plumber License; ME Propane and Natural Gas Technician (all waived for trainees, who instead must obtain proper trainee credentials).</li>
<li>Clean MA/NH/ME driving record.</li>
<li>Understanding of blueprints, plans, and manuals.</li>
<li>Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical.</li>
<li>Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on call shifts.</li>
</ul>
FLSA Status:
<ul>
<li>This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Electronic timekeeping of all hours worked is required.</li>
</ul>
