POSITION

Job Description
The Manager – Individual Tax position is responsible for managing an assigned list of technically difficult or significant individual client relationships. Will oversee the preparation and review of complex individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role serves as the technical expert of individual taxation, providing guidance to staff, reviewing returns, and managing client relationships, including handling IRS and state taxing authority audits. The Manager will lead tax planning discussions, work with clients on their specific tax needs, and ensure the firm stays current on tax law changes. Will assist with identifying, training, and implementation of new software needs. Is able to identify transaction risks, and consults with Partners, as needed. Additionally responsible for monitoring staff workload and ensures timely completion of client work.
