SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
 
The Occupancy Specialist will work with the 11-7 Shift Supervisor and ES Data Manager to oversee all aspects of the bed assignment and nightly reconciliation system, including meeting directly with guests and entering daily bed assignments. She or he will also support the triage and intake process, as needed, which may include updating all pertinent intake records, enrollment, assessing vulnerability and making appropriate referrals. The incumbent will work with the Supervisor to assist with training and support for designated staff to ensure consistent bed assignments, data reconciliation and data entry procedures are maintained seven (7) days a week. Working in conjunction with Pine Street Inn’s Program Evaluation department, the incumbent will be responsible for producing bed data/census reports to assist the Data Manager and/or Director in preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. The incumbent will provide Clarity orientation to new staff and ongoing technical assistance, when needed, regarding accurate and timely data entry into the PSI’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), Efforts to Outcomes (Clarity), and other mandated reporting programs/systems. 
 
The Occupancy Specialist will work from, adopt and enliven the following principles:

Healthy Kids Programs on the lookout for a dynamic Multi-Site Director for our Before After School Programs in Stoddard, Marlow, and Nelson, New Hampshire. 
 
JOB SUMMARY: As a key member of our team, you'll oversee multiple Healthy Kids Program locations, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service delivery. You'll provide crucial support to the program staff, particularly in staff management matters, and step up as the go-to person in charge in the program staff's absence. Your role involves regular collaboration with staff to make decisions, tackle challenges, and devise strategies with a focus on short-to-medium-term goals.
 
LOCATION: James Faulkner Elementary School in Stoddard, NH, Nelson Elementary School in Nelson, NH, and John D. Perkins Elementary in Marlow, NH
JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm
PAY RATE: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
 
JOB CONSISTS OF:

<li>Guiding Compliance: Ensure that both staff and program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the rules set by our host school.</li>
<li>Bringing the Fun: Direct engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Plus, don't forget about homework completion – you'll be the ultimate homework hero!</li>
<li>Managing Like a Boss: Take charge of essential management tasks, including maintaining accurate attendance and registration records, and ensuring proper staffing levels to keep the program running smoothly.</li>
<li>Keeping Everyone in the Loop: Ensure the program maintains open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App.</li>
<li>Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, ensuring they're up to speed on daily occurrences and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner. By working together as a cohesive team, we'll provide the highest quality of care, foster a positive working environment, and proactively tackle any challenges that come our way.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a childcare program or related field of work.</li>
</ul>
OR
<ul>
<li>An Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a childcare program or related field of work. </li>
</ul>
OR
<ul>
<li>A New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a childcare program or related field of work.</li>
</ul>
OR
<ul>
<li>A School-Age Child Care Credential or another office-recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period; and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a childcare program or related field of work.</li>

<li>You've got the green light from your doctor - medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.</li>

Requirements: US citizen, 21 years of age, 3 years’ combined experience with either law enforcement, military, or corrections, pass a background check, high school diploma/GED, meet armed security license requirements, CDL required with passenger endorsement , air break endorsement required, bi-lingual preferred, prior federal clearance preferred, pass a drug test, and be in overall good physical health.
