Salary: $20 per hour. 
$2.00/hour differential for high intensity programs
What you’ll do:
<ul>
<li>Engage people and partner with them to improve their health and wellness, achieve symptom stabilization and self-management and develop and/or restore skills impacted by mental illness to help them live a self-directed life.</li>
<li>Assist people with psychiatric and substance use disorders to identify personal priorities, preferences, strengths, and interests in order to help them establish goals that support a life in recovery.</li>
<li>Arrange and transport residents to appointments or daily outings.</li>
<li>Complete administrative tasks, such as answering phones or filling out paperwork.</li>
<li>Assist with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning</li>
<li>Provide side-by-side support and coaching to help people socialize to socialize and become more involved in their community</li>
</ul>
What you’ll need:
<ul>
<li>Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Experience: In lieu of college degree, at least one year experience with population that has severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder.</li>
<li>Skills: Must have valid driver’s license. Must be MAP certified within five months of hire and complete CPR/First Aide within orientation period (all training/certification provided).</li>
<li>Additional skills: ASL fluency is a plus</li>

Summary: The Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional 2 will support and assist individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities during the overnight hours in Level 2 residential programs. Staff will support individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community. Individuals may require moderate physical assistance or accommodation. Staff will receive specialized training to provide enhanced supervision or interventions designed to address multiple disabilities, including behavioral support or enhanced medical care.
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 11:00PM - 9:00AM (Awake Overnight) (30 Hours) 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ol>
<li>Provide support and assist individuals with all activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Provide services to individuals according to DDS, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain required documentation according to DDS and all applicable regulatory standards, and Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist individuals during the overnight shift.</li>
<li>Complete household cleaning duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Administer medications according to MAP regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, PABC, and MAP.</li>
<li>Transport individuals as needed.</li>
<li>Comply with Bridgewell Awake Overnight Call-In procedures.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ol>
Required Education/Experience:
<ol>
<li>Must have a high school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.</li>
</ol>
Required Skills/Knowledge:
<ol>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills so that the writing of required documents is clear and articulate.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.</li>
<li>Computer literacy includes the ability to use proficiently Microsoft products and web-based applications used by the agency.</li>
</ol>
Physical Demands:

<li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to climb stairs.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.</li>
<li>The employee must be able to drive a vehicle.</li>
<li>Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses.</li>
