Summary: The Direct Support Professional 2 will support and assist in Level 2 residential programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.</li>
<li>Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>

SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Residential Coordinator, the Assistant Residential Coordinator provides support to participants with the goal of maximizing their capacity for personal growth and community membership consistent with each participant's support plan, as well as ensuring effective staffing, scheduling, and operation of the program. In the absence of the Residential Coordinator, the Assistant Res. Coordinator supervises the program staff and provides leadership for all program staff. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision, Training and Administrative Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Participate in regular supervision with the Residential Coordinator. </li>
<li>Provide supervision as specified in the Safety Plan and in Individual Safety Assessments. </li>
<li>Provide supervision and direction to other staff and assume charge responsibilities in the absence of the Residential Coordinator. </li>

<li>Provide or facilitate access to transportation for participants as needed (appointments, work, activities, religious services etc.). </li>

Direct Support Professionals are members of a team responsible for providing high quality direct care services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while Residential Support Specialists work with individuals with various mental health related diagnoses. As a nonprofit organization, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are looking for both entry level and experienced individuals to work in our residential homes. 
Full and part time day, evening and overnight positions available in Chelsea, Winthrop, Revere, East Boston, Boston, Waltham, West Roxbury, Hyde Park and Saugus. Please indicate preference for location and shift.
Salary: $20 per hour. 
$2.00/hour differential for high intensity programs
What you’ll do:
<ul>
<li>Offer guidance for residents during skills building</li>
<li>Develop and implement individual treatment plans for residents</li>
<li>Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, money management, doctor’s appointments and assisting with personal hygiene</li>
<li>Engage people and partner with them to improve their health and wellness, achieve symptom stabilization and self-management and develop and/or restore skills impacted by mental illness to help them live a self-directed life.</li>
<li>Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratio at all time</li>
<li>Develop and promote a supportive relationship with the residents</li>
<li>Provide side-by-side support and coaching to help people socialize and become more involved in their community.</li>
</ul>
What you’ll need:
<ul>
<li>Education:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED required. </li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in any related field preferred.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience:
<ul>
<li>Zero to six years related experience (depending on DSP level) providing child care/elder care/direct support to developmentally disabled persons OR</li>
<li> Experience supporting individuals in a mental health/special education or other human services setting OR</li>
<li>Experience working with a population that has severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder.</li>

<li>Must have valid Driver’s license. </li>
<li>Must be or able to become MAP certified.</li>

We are seeking a highly motivated Residential Program Manager to join our team!
As a Residential Program Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of a residential program for adults living with developmental disabilities, as well as the overall health and safety of the persons residing there. You will help people in the areas of daily living skills, transportation, skill-building, money management, medication administration, risk mitigation and other areas based on the person centered treatment plan. 
What you'll do:
<ul>
<li>Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and facilitate progressive discipline as needed for all staff in conjunction with the Residential Services Coordinator.</li>
<li>Arrange staff schedules to meet the health and safety requirements, as well as the individual needs of the people.</li>
<li>Create a Positive Behavior Supports atmosphere in the programs, following the PBS model.</li>
<li>Oversee use of the ISP system to complete ISP planning and ensure related documentation is completed in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Participate in the assessment of person referrals, admissions and discharges.</li>
<li>Ensure the program and person records are current, comprehensive and meet agency and funding source standards.</li>
<li>Liaison with families/guardians, DDS, and other outside service providers.</li>
<li>Supervise and participate in the housekeeping and maintenance of the house and vehicle.</li>
<li>Participate in the development of the program budget, and monitor the program expenses.</li>
<li>Monitor medications in accordance with MAP regulations.</li>
<li>Teach NSCS trainings to newly hired employees.</li>

Residential Program Manager

Job Description
The Floating Program Manager is responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of the assigned residential program. The Program Manager is fully integrated into the integrated team and provides supervision and guidance to the GLE staff’s efforts to provide direct care and treatment planning interventions. This position will float to different group living environments to manage the programs when there is a vacancy in the Program Manager position.
Salary starts at: $67,980
Expectations of the Role:

<li>Ensures that day to day operations of the assigned group home are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation</li>

Skills: Must have Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/first aide certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire (training provided).
