<li>Recognizing, responding to, and reporting basic emergencies, following proper procedures, including the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR.</li>

<li>Assist Program Coordinator with the implementation of policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist and encourage participants with opportunities for socialization, education, group interaction and recreation.</li>
<li>Assist in set up, implementation and breakdown of daily scheduled activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.</li>
<li>Assist with meal procurement, service, and delivery and clean up in accordance with sanitary food preparation and USDA standards.</li>
<li>Assist with the ADL needs of the participants as warranted.</li>
<li>Ability to provide services outlined in this job description at any of the three Adult Day Health sites as assigned by the Program Coordinator.</li>

Education and Requirements:

<li>Must possess one year experience working with adults or the chronically disabled.</li>
<li>An ability to work with others as part of a team and communicate effectively.</li>
<li>Must have CNA, or demonstrated competence per DPH regulations</li>

**Must be able to successfully complete a MA State CORI check, CPS check and company paid, and pre-employment physical.**

The Groomer I prepares and maintains a skiing surface that is safe and functional for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels using grooming vehicles. You must be flexible in your hours and willing to work evenings/overnight as well as weekends and holidays. Operating heavy machinery is a must. Works directly with other groomers as a team to accomplish daily goals and operations.&nbsp; Ability to read instruments and recognize mechanical issues in snow cats. Be able to identify obstacles and hazards in all types of terrain. Is trained to be in compliance with all Risk Management, health and safety protocols. The Groomer I position is seasonal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assignment

<li>Daily operational inspection, fueling, greasing and cleaning of machinery. </li>
<li>Grooming of ski trails in a mountainous environment both during daylight and at night.</li>
<li>Communication of work performed, area covered and reporting of any irregularities for other operators to be aware of.</li>

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must hold valid State of Vermont Driver’s License and be eligible for enrollment in Jay Peak Resort’s Motor Vehicle Insurance policy. It requires that work venues are varied, and in many cases include steep stairways, multilevel buildings and outdoor work areas, subject to very cold, sometimes wet or very sunny work sites. Some facilities are located at the base or bottom area and some are semi-remote and can only be reached by traveling via chair lift(s), ATV, skis or snowboards. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Work days and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays
