Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and strong telemetry skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool within a hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- 36 hours per week with three shifts per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Utilizes Meditech EMR system
- Float Pool nurses are expected to work on various units according to patient needs
- Must provide care for a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
- Must work every other weekend and every other holiday as part of the schedule
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA required
- Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- Telemetry and Meditech experience required
- Flu vaccine for 2024/2025 season required prior to start
- Must pass a telemetry skills assessment on the first day of orientation
