- Hourly Rate: $34.00 – $38.61 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials:
- 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – Midnight): +$3.00/hour
- 3rd Shift (Midnight – 8:00 AM): +$8.00/hour
- Overtime: +$4.50 – $12.00/hour depending on shift

Role OverviewThe Overnight School Nurse is a cornerstone of after-hours care for a diverse student body. You’ll provide assessment, medication administration, and overnight monitoring while collaborating with an on-call provider and support staff. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy a quieter environment while still making a big impact on adolescent health and wellness.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans per established protocols
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Oversee the care of students staying in the health center overnight
- Maintain clear, up-to-date electronic health records
- Communicate with families as appropriate
- Partner with an on-call physician or nurse practitioner
- Provide a supportive and safe overnight presence for students
Required Qualifications
- RN or LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Prior experience in adolescent, family medicine, ER, or school nursing required
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and operating standard medical equipment
