Lactation Consultant assignment for a 13-week contract working 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing advanced lactation care, education, and consultation for patients. The clinician will assess complex breastfeeding needs, develop interdisciplinary care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal maternal and infant outcomes. This position requires strong clinical expertise in lactation management and the ability to lead and guide care across multiple care settings. No weekends required, but holiday rotation may apply.\n\nRequirements:\n\nMinimum 1+ year of IBCLC experience (as specified)
\nInternational Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required (no equivalents accepted)
\nMinimum 2500 hours as a breastfeeding/lactation consultant required
\nActive Massachusetts license required (RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist acceptable if qualified)
\nBLS (AHA) certification required
\nExperience with inpatient lactation programs required
\nExperience with outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education required
\nMeditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
\nMust reside outside 50-mile radius (no local candidates)
\nAll certifications must be in hand at submission (no pending)
\nSkills checklist and 1 supervisory reference required
\nMust have reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
