Job Type: Part Time

Reports To: Care Coordinator / Agency Administrator

We are seeking dedicated and dependable Personal Care Aides to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) provides essential assistance and support to clients in their homes with daily living tasks. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care that promotes the client’s well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

    • Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting

    • Mobility assistance (transfers, walking, positioning)

    • Feeding and meal preparation

  • Provide medication reminders (as directed by care plan)

  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying

  • Offer companionship and emotional support

  • Monitor and report changes in client’s condition to supervisor

  • Follow care plans and safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate daily documentation and time logs

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or similar setting preferred

  • Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or CNA (as required by state)

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for client transportation)
