Job Summary:
The Personal Care Aide (PCA) provides essential assistance and support to clients in their homes with daily living tasks. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care that promotes the client’s well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
-
Mobility assistance (transfers, walking, positioning)

Feeding and meal preparation
-

Provide medication reminders (as directed by care plan)

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying
-
Offer companionship and emotional support
-
Monitor and report changes in client’s condition to supervisor
-
Follow care plans and safety protocols
-
Maintain accurate daily documentation and time logs
Qualifications:
-
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or similar setting preferred
-
Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or CNA (as required by state)

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for client transportation)
