Role and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs.)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care requirements.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Medication reminders.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Companionship.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Full transfers.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Light housekeeping.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Laundry.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Meal preparation.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Transport to and from shopping (groceries or clothing) and appointments.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Experience in-home care preferred, but not required. Training and certifications can be provided.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be dedicated, reliable and sensitive to the needs of the client.</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully pass a background screening.</li>
<li>Driver's License and personally owned vehicle preferred, but not required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 75&nbsp;pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push, and provide physical intervention as necessary.</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, and understand English.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be 18 years of age (or older.)</li>
</ul>
Level/Salary Range:&nbsp;$39,000-$41,000 annually

Riverside Village Apartments is a 300+ unit family apartment community located in Leominster, MA . Duties/Skills include: service coordination, sponsoring education &amp; wellness programs and working closely with the management team on a variety of challenges towards the goal of seeing the resident community thrive.
 
Duties/Skills include but not limited to:
<ol>
<li>The RSC works as a team alongside the resident services staff, property management team, residents, volunteers and community partners.</li>
<li>Connecting our residents to services, resources and support is a primary duty of the RSC. This includes assessments, education, referrals to service providers and the ongoing monitoring of support. Some examples of service topics include resources to help older adults age in place, rental assistance, benefits and entitlements, job support, early childhood education, food assistance and mental health.</li>
<li>The RSC establishes onsite wellness programs and events through relationships with community partners and/or utilizing the RSC programming budget. Topics can range from having celebrations that prevent isolation and build community to lectures on health topics and general wellbeing, such as fraud prevention or computer classes.</li>
<li>Advocate, organize, problem-solve to obtain results for residents.</li>
<li>Establish relationships with agencies and service providers in the community who will provide direct services to residents.</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish a plus, not required.</li>
</ol>
