Working in coordination with the Research Manager, the Senior Research Analyst will lead thought leadership production for the Arizona region. In addition to thought leadership, this role with also support the Capital Markets and Occupier business. The role will encompass certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the teamâs production and delivery of research material. This role will place an emphasis on client care, media requests and involvement in community and industry organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly participates in pitch kickoff meetings and collaborates with local leadership, sales management, marketing and business development for proposal/RFP submissions.
Also collaborates extensively with Location Intelligence and the Liquid Galaxy team.
Regularly provides market updates and market activity snapshots to producers, clients and media.
Analyzes market data/trends and incorporates findings into presentations, reports and various other forms of communication.
Directly responsible for delivery of standard Field Research outputs such as MarketViews, MarketFlashes and market overviews etc.
Oversees the collection and analysis of market information regarding the commercial real estate market.
Other duties may be assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to co-workers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics or Finance.
4-8 years of experience in commercial real estate, economic development or other market research.
Requires sound understanding of how broader economic conditions influence investment decisions and real estate markets.
Is able to think creatively and produce actionable intelligence through analysis.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Exceptional work ethic including the willingness to occasionally work late hours and/or weekends when deadlines require.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.
Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and summarize graphically and in writing.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and Tableau.
